Meal Plans

What type of Meal Plan is recommended?

Your meal plan gives you the flexibility and consistency you need. Plans are available for students living on campus. Off-campus students, faculty and staff can purchase the Raven 60 or Raven Bucks.

  • 18 Meals with $300 Dining Dollars (per year): The 18 plan is ideal for the student who is a hearty eater or enjoys three balanced meals each day of the week. Required for all freshmen!
  • 14 Meals with $500 Dining Dollars (per year): The 14 meal plan works best for the student who wants the flexibility and value of two meals each day -- or sometimes three daily with lighter-fare days on the weekends or dependent upon work schedules.
  • 12 Meals with $300 Dining Dollars (per year): The 12 meal plan allows the flexibility of some days dining on campus 2-3 times and other days going off campus or using your Raven Bucks to eat at the MCI.
  • 7 Meals with $100 Dining Dollars (per year): The seven meal plan fits best the commuter who wants to ensure community-building time on campus or for the busy upperclassman swamped with research, classwork or work. Available for those living off campus, in the apartments, row houses, on-campus houses, or the Lofts.
  • 60 Block: The block of 60 meals offer commuters, faculty and staff the flexibility of a block of meals (no worry if you don't use your set amount in a week) with the convenience of dining on campus. Meals do not carry forward to the next semester.

How do I get Dining Dollars or Raven Bucks?

Dining Dollars
Dining Dollars come pre-loaded with your meal plan as described. Dining Dollars must be used by the end of each semester. Raven Bucks rollover from semester to semester. Adding more Raven Bucks to your account as it runs low is a great value and convenient for your use on campus. Can I change my Meal Plan?

Sure thing-- you can visit Student Services in the Student Union within the first week of the semester for approval.

How do I get into the dining locations once I have purchased my Meal Plan?

Because your meal plan is exclusively yours, you must present your ID card at all of the locations in order to purchase food.

What if I have unused Dining dollars at the end of the semester?

You want to use your Dining Dollars by the end of spring semester because they do not carry over.

Can I feed my friends or family with my Meal Plan?

Your meal plan is yours exclusively. Your guest can pay the casual meal rate at the Dining Hall or Benedetto's. Of course you can always use Dining Dollars at any location on campus. For your protection, no one else can use your ID card.

What if I have special dietary needs?

If you have special dietary needs, e.g. gluten intolerance, food allergy, vegetarian, visit with our food service director, Erin Milek, or Chef Yancy Kamine in the Dining Hall. Help us understand your needs.
